Solar for Dairy Farms — Build Energy Resilience With Inflation-Proof Solar Power

Creating a reliable and sustainable energy source to power your operation for the long term

Dairy Farm High Energy Demand

Modern dairy farms are energy-intensive, with significant electricity usage for milking, cooling, water heating and lighting.

A dairy cow typically consumes 1 kWh of electricity per day.

An average UK dairy farm uses 160 kWh of electricity per day equivalent to 16 UK households’ consumption combined.

Roof-top Solar for Dairy Farm

Our standard 100 kW system, consisting of 240 panels covering approx. 500 sq. meter on a south-facing, shade-free roof, ensures an annual generation of over 80,000 kWh of electricity.

An optional industrial battery bank stores surplus solar energy and off-peak electricity for night-time usage.

The system is modular, scalable, and offers expandable capacity, limited only by your roof size.

Cloud-based energy management platform enables remote monitoring and maintenance.

Financing Solution 2

Sustainable Green Asset Financing

Spread the cost into monthly repayments across 5 years

Example: 100 kW system

  • Monthly repayment of £1895 + VAT without battery bank
  • Monthly repayment of £2195 + VAT with a 50 kWh battery bank
  • After 5 years, free electricity for > 20 years

The prices include loan interest, DNO application fee, all equipment, installation, a 5-year workmanship warranty, a 10-year inverter and battery bank warranty and a 20-year solar panel warranty.
